First and foremost, Bailey is a family business which upholds the standards and values of the family which runs the company. As a stockholding wholesaler of light sources, luminaires and accessories, Bailey mainly supplies professional electrical wholesalers in Europe.
Power of choice
Bailey believes in the power of choice. As a result, over the years it has built up a huge database (over 45,000 article numbers) and range to maximise the chances of its clients finding a specific product or an alternative to this product. In addition, Bailey has always invested in data systems (currently known as Product Information Management systems) in order to make this product information available to its clients as quickly and clearly as possible.
Our brands
The majority of Bailey's product range consists of its own products which are partly marketed under the brand Bailey Lights. Bailey also works with sub-brands such as Spiraled® and Robust Working Lights.
To supplement its service and range, Bailey works in close collaboration with brand suppliers such as OSRAM Automotive, Defa Lighting and True-Light which offer specific products. The company also works with brand suppliers such as Philips, Osram, Ledvance and Sylvania which only sell directly to the market in standard packages, whereas customers can buy from Bailey in small quantities.
Spiraled®
On October 22, 1879, the original Edison light bulb burned for no less than 13.5 hours. This was the beginning of a major breakthrough in the field of lighting. It was one of the inventions that actually changed everyday life. 137 years later (in 2016) Bailey introduces the Spiraled® , the LED version of the original. Certainly not as revolutionary as it was back then, but Edison would certainly have been proud of this invention, which comes closest to the original in terms of atmosphere, appearance and warmth colour temperature (1900K).
